Join GovCIO as a Quality Assurance Engineer! We are looking for a dedicated and experienced QA Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments. This position is fully remote and will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction in a government contracting setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, publish, and execute comprehensive test plans for complex, multi-tier distributed applications throughout their full lifecycle.
• Develop manual and automated testing solutions utilizing commercial tools, scripts, and datasets.
• Engage in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and system testing.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to resolve critical defects, ensuring that the software development process is thoroughly tested.
• Create strategies for addressing high-criticality bugs and security vulnerabilities.
• Proactively identify potential security gaps and attack vectors within both new and existing codebases.
• Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies, working across iterative development cycles with cross-functional teams.
• Effectively communicate with federal clients, development teams, and program managers.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of additional experience may substitute for educational requirements.
• Proficient in Jira, X-ray, and AWS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, particularly Kanban.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be eligible to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with AWS.

Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $123,000.00 /Yr.
