Your opportunity

This opportunity suits a test engineer who enjoys the manual and exploratory aspects of Quality Assurance. Your primary focus will be regression testing of our mobile and desktop web applications as well as testing new features. In this role, you can practice and develop your craft with a wide range of QA techniques and tools. Additionally you will have the opportunity to cross-train in test automation engineering and acquire a broad knowledge of distributed computing with the support of our QA team.

Your area of responsibility

• Conduct exploratory, functional, and regression tests
• Perform cross-device/browser testing to ensure compatibility, design responsiveness and fluidity
• Communicate current test status clearly and confidently
• Deliver high-quality test coverage within time schedules
• Take part in test automation using Node.js, Robotframework and other tools
• Participate in bug lifecycle management – bug tracking, reporting, analysis, and verification
• Participate in requirements review and test planning sessions
• Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for software quality

What makes you the right candidate?

• A minimum of three years of relevant work experience as a test engineer in the software industry
• Passion for edge case testing, bug discovery, and representing the end-user mindset
• Experience in working in an Agile Scrum team
• First-hand experience with test automation preferred
• Committed personality with good English skills
• Eager to learn and enjoy a self-responsible way of working
• Completed technical education preferred
• EU citizen or valid work permit for the EU
• Place of residence: Austria or Germany

• In-office: Leoben (Austria)
• Remote: Full or partial remote work possible (Place of residence: Austria or Germany)

Type:

• Fulltime, permanent
• Weekly hours of work 38.5 hours
• Overtime compensation for 5 hours per week included in salary

Salary:

• Salary range starts at EUR 44,800 gross per year
