Responsibilities

  • Manage quality control efforts on allocated titles including functionality and compliance testing activities.
  • Create and follow-up test plans and validate test phases from alpha to post release.
  • Own information flows between internal and external QA teams and company stakeholders.
  • Create and improve testing processes to match game engine evolution and development teams' requests.
  • Guarantee ownership, administration and communication of all QA related project data and associated risks.
  • Own test schedules and test budgets.
  • Create multi-discipline test plans within lead times and budget constraints and communicate them to external testing providers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor test vendors' activities from start to finish on each project.
  • Create, update, and communicate regular game status information and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Collate reports and feedback from multi-discipline testing with several external testing teams.
  • Report on overall project progress at each test phase.
  • Organize bug report database and bug flows creation with all BNE QA regions.
  • Evaluate and communicate fixing priority of specific bugs according to release constraints.
  • Analyse and communicate risks/issues related to submissions of console games and internal approval of PC games.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a QA role such as QA lead or supervisor.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a related field including project management knowledge.
  • Experience planning and driving QA processes through entire development cycles.
  • Excellent understanding of video games testing methodology, tools, and hardware.
  • Proven experience in process-driven environments and creating innovative testing procedures.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint) and JIRA (flow creation, dashboards, custom filters).
  • Fluent English, written and oral.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, rigorous, conscientious, curious.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptable to workload changes.
  • Analytical with good communication skills.
  • Proactive in learning and implementing new tools and methods.

Additional Information

  • Job location: 15, rue Felix Mangini, 69009 LYON - FRANCE.
  • Position is not eligible for full remote.
  • Contract: full time (permanent).
  • Remuneration: fixed and variable compensation.
