Civil/Structural/Architectural Inspector

Seeking (Civil/Structural/Architectural Inspector to support large-scale data center construction projects. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring all civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) work is executed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate brings deep field inspection experience in mission-critical environments and a strong understanding of quality control processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.

• Pay: $55.00hr - $70.00hr - OT pay = 1.5x payrate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections of civil, structural, and architectural work to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and codes
• Ensure construction activities align with established Quality Control (QC) Plans and project standards
• Support implementation of three-phase quality control processes (preparatory, initial, follow-up) for definable features of work (DFOW)
• Inspect critical scopes including:
  • Concrete placement and testing
  • Structural steel installation, bolting, and welding
  • Building envelope (roofing, waterproofing, façade systems)
  • Underground utilities, earthwork, and site development
• Review and validate materials, submittals, and shop drawings prior to installation
• Identify deficiencies, generate punch lists, and track corrective actions through resolution
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and safety requirements
• Witness and document testing and inspections (concrete testing, compaction, structural inspections, etc.)
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, QA/QC documentation, and as-built records
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors to proactively resolve issues
• Participate in project meetings, including QC coordination and progress updates

Required Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in construction quality inspection, with a focus on CSA (civil/structural/architectural) scopes
• Proven experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects (strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASTM, IBC, etc.)
• Experience implementing or supporting Quality Control Plans and inspection processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Experience with inspection documentation, reporting, and deficiency tracking
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a general contractor on large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and handoff requirements
• Experience with digital construction tools such as Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
• OSHA 30 certification
• Relevant certifications (ACI, ICC, NICET, etc.)
