About the role
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a procurement system enhancement initiative within a large enterprise program. This is a 6-month contract (with potential extension), starting ASAP, operating in a hybrid model (2 days onsite). The role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, support delivery, and ensure successful implementation of business and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and working sessions
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure solution alignment
- Support QA and UAT processes to validate system functionality
- Prepare documentation including process flows, requirements, and analysis reports
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Must-Have Requirements
- 5–7 years of Business Analyst experience
- Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and managing expectations
- Strong documentation skills (BRDs, user stories, process flows)
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience supporting QA and UAT activities
- Understanding of IT project lifecycle
- Experience within banking or insurance industry
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage complex stakeholders
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with procurement system implementations
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
