Position Overview
Title: Quality Engineer
Location: iNRCORE (Bristol) facility, Bristol, PA
Reporting To: Quality Manager
This position is critical to the success of iNRCORE and will be supporting the Quality Department. The ideal candidate should be a critical thinker and problem solver with the ability to join/lead temporary teams for improvement efforts. The ideal candidate should also be a self‑starter, requiring minimal intervention from their manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102
- Support final product audit with inspection when required
- Support Incoming Material Inspection when required
- Support/lead RCCA for internal and external product failures
- Serve as a leader for continuous improvement projects
- Participate in AS9100 Surveillance and recertification audits
- Participate in contract review process
- Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality (Incoming, in‑Process and Final product audit)
- Serve as lead for coordination and execution of source inspection
- Generate yearly retention reporting for QPL products
- Owner of the company calibration process
- Provide support/solution on production and final product audit questions/concerns
- Support RMA, MRB, and Non‑conforming product processes
- Fulfill other duties assigned by quality manager
- Develop and implement data analysis methods (i.e. dashboards, power query, Power BI)
Qualifying Attributes and Skills
- University/College graduate Science/Engineering related field
- ASQ or Six Sigma certification preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in quality engineering or quality related role
- Experience in incoming, in process and final testing of products
- Root cause investigation for product failure analysis
- Quality management system, audit process for ISO9001 and AS9100 standards
- Strong computer skills; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
- Experience with developing/documenting procedure
- Familiarity with QMS AS9100D including ISO9100:2015
- Hands on experience in equipment calibration
- Strong attention to detail and focus on product quality
- Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on quality metrics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Able to read customer drawings and source control documents
- Working knowledge with military specifications for product quality conformance (i.e. MIL‑STD‑981)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization as well as with external parties
- Experience in a fast‑paced, rapidly growing environment preferred
- Willingness to be flexible with changing priorities and varying management needs
- Fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Mandarin is a plus

- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds without trouble
- Must have the ability to adjust focus, have peripheral vision, and capable of adequately seeing both short and long‑distance visibility

- Details of the Role: The position of Quality Engineer will be responsible for working with the quality, operations and engineering teams to make sure all products meet required standards and specifications
