In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

• Creation, maintenance, and optimization of automated test cases with Playwright and Cucumber, focusing on UI tests and end-to-end tests
• Support in the conception of further test levels in the test pyramid, such as unit/component tests and API/service tests
• Development of tests in TypeScript to ensure software quality
• Definition of test strategies and concepts for efficient test automation
• Ensuring test coverage and documentation of test results
• Analysis & resolution of errors in close cooperation with developers
• Support with technical topics and tasks within the team

Required education

Required technical and professional expertise

• ISTQB Foundation Level
• Experience in test automation with Playwright and Cucumber
• Knowledge of TypeScript and test-driven development
• Experience with the creation and implementation of test strategies
• Analytical mindset and a high quality awareness
• Teamwork skills and experience in collaboration with developers/testers
• Excellent German and good English skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst or Test Automation
• Preferably experience with topics such as accessibility and workflow engines
• Experience in agile development projects, ideally with SAFe certification
