Quality Manager

About

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality operations within a precision CNC machining environment serving the Aerospace and Defense industries. This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet strict regulatory and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
• Oversee inspection processes and ensure adherence to GD&T requirements
• Develop and implement quality systems, policies, and procedures
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
• Maintain documentation and ensure audit readiness
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with AS9100 standards
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
• Proven analytical and data analysis skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or higher)
