About the role
A globally prominent and rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a Quality Manager to lead site-level quality strategy and execution within a complex, high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and customer requirements. The Quality Manager will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial leadership to strengthen process capability, reduce risk, and build a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (RCCA/CAPA) processes to reduce defects, escapes, and customer disruptions.
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve process capability, first-pass yield, and overall product quality performance.
- Own customer quality interface, including audits, scorecards, complaint resolution, and corrective action follow-through.
- Develop, mentor, and lead the Quality organization, including Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and technicians.
- Oversee internal and external audit readiness, including preparation for customer and third-party audits.
- Establish and monitor key quality metrics (PPM, COPQ, FPY, audit findings) and drive accountability for results.
- Support new product introduction and process changes through robust quality planning and risk mitigation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within a precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of formal Quality Management Systems (IATF1649, AS9100, etc.).
- Demonstrated success leading root cause investigations and driving measurable quality improvement.
- Prior leadership experience managing and developing quality teams.
- Strong customer-facing presence with experience supporting audits and resolving quality issues.
