As a Quality Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the maturity, scalability, and effectiveness of our Quality Engineering (QE) function across both cloud and on-premises platforms. Your leadership will direct QE governance, test automation, performance engineering, and test data management. You will define and implement a product-centric and outcome-driven quality strategy, establishing top-tier QE standards, tools, and practices. Additionally, you will work on executing enterprise-wide strategies for automation, performance, and data quality.
Your key responsibilities will include: • Defining and executing the enterprise QE roadmap focused on governance, automation coverage, performance SLAs, and test data strategy. • Developing and maintaining QE policies and standards that are integrated into CI/CD processes. • Managing product budgets and resource allocation to ensure alignment with financial targets and maximize ROI. • Leading the evaluation, negotiation, and management of QE tooling and services. • Pioneering the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) in a comprehensive Quality and Software Engineering program. • Owning the test automation architecture and integrating it with ADO/Git pipelines. • Driving shift-left quality initiatives and establishing frameworks that support scalable, reliable reporting. • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and security requirements. • Monitoring application performance continuously and validating system adherence to quality standards and SLAs. • Maintaining audit-ready compliance through consistent quality controls and documentation of test evidence. • Leading and mentoring a Quality Engineering team to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications • U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering and Software Development lifecycles. • 3+ years in a managerial or senior-level role. • Robust understanding of quality engineering practices, governance, and modern software development processes, including automated testing in CI/CD pipelines. • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence change across teams and complex organizations. • Capability to design and evolve scalable automation frameworks and establish quality standards within agile teams. • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience in implementing AI into QE programs. • Familiarity with diverse programming languages and software development technologies. • [Senior Level Engineer]: Extensive hands-on quality engineering experience, with leadership potential.
