Your Role as Quality Manager

As a Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our ESS Pack products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a deep understanding of quality systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit to lead cross‑functional efforts in quality control, testing, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Control

    • Inspect incoming materials, in‑process production, and final ESS products
    • Develop SOPs, control plans, and inspection protocols
    • Analyze quality data to drive process improvement and defect reduction
  • Testing & Analysis

    • Lead mechanical, electrical, and environmental testing activities
    • Drive reliability and life cycle testing initiatives
    • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Customer Quality Support

    • Manage customer complaints and lead RCA/CAPA processes
    • Support customer audits and field return investigations
    • Maintain comprehensive quality documentation and integrate customer feedback
  • Quality Systems & Audits

    • Operate within ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 standards
    • Support audit readiness and participate in internal/external audits
    • Drive continuous improvement across documentation and procedures
  • Supplier Quality Control

    • Audit and qualify suppliers of ESS components
    • Address material quality issues and lead supplier corrective actions
    • Monitor quality and consistency across outsourced manufacturing
  • Other Duties as Assigned

    • Support cross‑functional quality initiatives and special projects as needed

What You Need to Succeed

Key Competencies:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams
  • Attention to detail with analytical problem‑solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage quality data and documentation systems effectively

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or ESS/battery industries
  • Experience with quality methodologies (FMEA, Fishbone, 5 Whys, MSA, etc.)
  • Familiarity with LIMS, MES, and ERP platforms

Preferred:

  • Experience with battery packs, BMS/PCS systems, and ISO/Six Sigma certifications
