Job description

• You will be responsible for the creation of detailed FAT acceptance documentation for complex electrical systems and their associated software components in compliance with all quality specifications
• In addition, you will be responsible for the independent execution of systematic software tests to ensure error-free functionality of the control programmes
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for the complete creation of test and inspection documentation for the software, to ensure audit-proof traceability at all times
• You will also be actively involved in the specialised QA team for software and provide support during international business trips as required
• As part of your role, you will support the continuous optimisation of testing processes through analytical documentation of all deviations identified during the test phases
• In addition, you will support the specialist departments in analysing error messages and thus make a significant contribution to the high software quality of the systems

Requirements

• You have successfully completed further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) specialising in electrical engineering or an industrial foreman (m/f/d) in electrical engineering
• As a sound basis, you have completed training as an electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d), IT specialist (m/f/d) or mechatronics technician (m/f/d)
• In addition, you have relevant professional experience in software quality assurance and sound knowledge of automation technology, ideally with the PCS 7 system
• You are characterised by your confident knowledge of the MS Office package and experience with JIRA and requirements management tools such as Doors NG
• Your German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, as well as your business fluent English skills in a technical context are essential for communication
• In addition to your technical expertise, you will also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany
