Quantitative Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quantitative Analyst to join our team in France. In this role, you will develop mathematical models and data-driven strategies to support financial decision-making, risk management, and investment analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative models for pricing, risk, and forecasting
• Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends and opportunities
• Support trading, investment, and risk management strategies
• Perform statistical analysis and backtesting of models
• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and technology teams
• Monitor model performance and improve methodologies
• Prepare reports and present quantitative insights to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C++
• Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and financial mathematics
• Experience with data analysis and modeling techniques
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, investment banking, or asset management
• Knowledge of derivatives, fixed income, and financial instruments
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques
• Experience with tools such as MATLAB, SQL, or Excel VBA
• Knowledge of French is a plus (depending on company environment)
