Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate measurements and take-offs from architectural and interior design drawings
• Compile detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations, comparisons, and adjudications
• Assist with procurement processes and monitor project expenditure
• Manage variations, progress claims, and cost reporting throughout project lifecycles
• Support contract administration and ensure financial controls are maintained
• Liaise closely with project managers, designers, suppliers, and contractors
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within construction, interiors, or fit-out projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and premium finishes
• Proficient in DimX or similar measurement / estimating software
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent numerical accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively

Highly Advantageous:

• Experience with bespoke joinery and custom-built interior elements
• Exposure to turnkey residential, retail, or commercial projects
• Previous experience working on luxury or high-end interior environments
