Your curiosity leads you to the "Quantum Compilation" group, which belongs to the "Machine Intelligence" department. Our team consists of experts with diverse academic backgrounds in computer science, engineering, and physics. Since 2019, our group has been involved with the latest topics in quantum computing, including Quantum Machine Learning, Machine Learning for the optimization of compilers for quantum computers, quantum error correction, and distributed quantum computing.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Academic qualification: You have a scientific university degree in computer science, information technology, computational science, or applied mathematics, preferably with a doctorate.
• Programming expertise: You have extensive experience in programming with Python and C++, with a focus on developing algorithms and APIs.
• Technological know-how: You have sound knowledge of Linux systems, HPC systems, and cloud computing.
• Research experience: You are familiar with the research and development of software for quantum computing and have a deep understanding of this future-oriented technology.
• Machine learning and deep learning: You have dealt intensively with concepts of machine learning and deep learning.
• Language skills: You communicate fluently in German and English, thereby advancing international teamwork.
• Project management: Ideally, you already have experience in project management and are ready to take on responsibility.
