Radio Optimization Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Radio Optimization Engineer with a solid background in ZTE equipment to join a growing team in France (relocation is a must).

The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience in optimizing and tuning radio networks, particularly in the context of ZTE deployments. You will be responsible for analyzing network performance, implementing optimization actions, and continuously improving coverage and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Radio Network Optimization (ZTE): Analyze and optimize network coverage, capacity, and service quality using ZTE equipment (eNodeB, RAN, etc.).
• KPI Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify coverage or service quality issues and propose effective solutions.
• ZTE Equipment Configuration & Tuning: Configure and fine-tune radio network parameters on ZTE equipment (e.g., resource planning, load balancing, spectrum management) to meet network requirements.
• Coverage Studies & Sizing: Conduct radio coverage studies and dimension network resources based on evolving requirements.
• Optimization Deployment & Validation: Implement technical optimizations and validate performance improvements post-deployment, collaborating with field teams.
• Technical Reporting: Provide detailed reports on optimization status, results analysis, and recommendations for further improvement.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure optimization activities are in line with overall network objectives.

Your profile :

• 10 years of experience in radio optimization, with strong expertise in ZTE equipment.
• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of RAN architectures and 4G/5G technologies (LTE, NR, etc.).
  • Expertise with ZTE tools for performance analysis and optimization (e.g., ZTE NetNumen, ZTE U2000).
  • Strong understanding of radio optimization methodologies: KPI analysis, coverage management, radio tuning, etc.
  • Proficiency with traffic analysis tools (Drive Tests, etc.).
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
