Our client is a mining company.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for leading the Engineering team in the Maintenance function of the Engineering Services Section inclusive of: General mine wide infrastructure like buildings, water and power supply and sewage handling infrastructure and including trackless mobile machinery (TMM), lighting plants and trailers.
- Execution of the maintenance function includes application of full spectrum maintenance planning and execution to achieve the required equipment and infrastructure availability and functionality at zero harm to employees and the environment.
Qualifications
- Grade 12/N3 qualification
- Relevant recognized Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Electrician or Fitter.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience on maintenance of general mine infrastructure and associated equipment, trackless mobile machinery, dewatering pumps, and lighting plants.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Electrician or Fitter in a mining environment of which 3 years must be on supervisory level.
- Knowledge of RCFA, CMMS, RCM, ICAM.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Advanced Package)
- Knowledge of all the applicable safety standards
