Site Manager (Electrical and Instrumentation)

Our client is an E&I contractor with projects across oil & gas, chemical, utilities, renewable energy, power generation, industrial process plants, and infrastructure.

Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating E&I construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities across industrial, mining, and oil & gas projects.

• Site-based role with travel throughout South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Work schedules driven by project and site requirements.
• Typical site rotation structures may include:
  • 6-day work weeks
  • R&R cycles
  • Approximately 190 hours per month

Qualifications

• Trade-Tested Electrician or Instrumentation Technician.
• Recognised Electrical or Instrumentation Qualification (Diploma/Degree advantageous).
• SACPCMP registration advantageous.

Skills

• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience within the E&I industrial construction environment.
• Proven experience on mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams in remote project environments.
• Experience working with HV/MV electrical systems and process instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of project safety systems and industrial construction methodologies.
