R&D Engineer Hardware & Software (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement software test solutions for diagnosis, calibration and verification of high-precision measurement devices.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and maintenance teams to ensure seamless interchange of knowledge and experience for hard- and software.
• Analyze the test outcome with statistical methods to improve the results and ensure the reliability for our customers and manufacturers.
• Describe the functionality in a support documentation.
• Support our customers, service staff and manufacturers in case of difficult maintenance situations to ensure the best possible support.

Requirements

• Bachelor / Master's degree in electrical or software engineering or equivalent.
• Good experience in C++ programming and object-oriented concepts.
• Good communication skills and team player.
• A passion for precision and quality, with a proactive attitude towards finding and implementing solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiar with statistical methods e.g. cpk, cp.
• Good written and spoken German / English knowledge.
• Self-organized.
