Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role

Join our dynamic system team as an Embedded Software Engineer and help shape the future of Ekinops networking products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple global sites to develop cutting-edge software solutions for our router portfolio, integrating both proprietary and third-party technologies into cost-effective, high-performance designs.

What You'll Do

• Architect & Design: Create scalable software architectures, systems, and reusable building blocks
• Development & Test: Build robust software solutions in real-time embedded environments
• Collaborate: Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to develop, debug, and optimize innovative designs
• Document: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for your software designs

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of professional embedded software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C programming
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Kernel development and debugging
• Experience developing software for multicore environments
• Knowledge of communication system standards and protocols

Preferred Skills

• DPDK development experience
• Experience with GitLab/Git, Jira, Jenkins, and unit testing frameworks
• Strong passion for embedded software (firmware) and software architecture
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to thrive in international, agile team environments
