React Native Developer Intern (Expo / Mobile Apps)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated React Native Mobile App Developer Intern who is passionate about building high-quality mobile applications. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on production-level apps used by students exploring global education opportunities.

You will collaborate with our product and engineering teams to build scalable mobile interfaces, integrate APIs, and improve app performance while learning modern mobile development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile application features using React Native.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive and pixel-perfect mobile UI components.
• Ensure layouts work seamlessly across different screen sizes and devices.
• Integrate REST APIs with the mobile application.
• Debug and resolve UI, performance, and responsiveness issues.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with developers during daily standups and sprint planning.
• Deliver assigned tasks within project timelines.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of React Native development
• Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Understanding of React Hooks
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git / GitHub version control
• Understanding of responsive mobile UI design

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Expo or React Native CLI
• Knowledge of Redux, Zustand, or Context API
• Experience working with Figma design files
• Understanding of mobile performance optimization
