React UI developer

About the Role

The team manages a serverless UI application in TypeScript and a Java Spring API on the backend. This role involves significant work with AWS and helping mentor junior developers.

Top Skills Required

• Strong experience in Java, including building API services using Java Spring/Spring Boot
• Frontend development experience with TypeScript and ReactJS
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including:
  • S3
  • CloudFormation
  • Overall application development and deployment in AWS
• Experience working with serverless architectures
• Ability to mentor and support junior developers

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications
• Build and enhance frontend applications using ReactJS and TypeScript
• Develop backend APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot
• Work closely with AWS cloud services for application deployment and infrastructure management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Support application performance optimization and troubleshooting

Preferred / Nice To Have Skills

• Mobile development experience with React Native and/or iOS
• Experience driving or supporting major mobile application projects
• Exposure to Claude/AI tools or AI-assisted development practices
• Experience with AWS Lambda is a plus
