Role: React UI Developer

Experience Level: 4–8 Years

Location: New Brunswick, Canada

Work Model: Hybrid

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled React UI Developer to design and build modern, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces for enterprise-grade web applications.

This role will focus heavily on frontend development using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, while working closely with backend developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for UI/UX, experience building reusable components, and the ability to translate design concepts into scalable, production-ready interfaces.

Roles & Responsibilities

● Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.

● Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries for scalable application development.

● Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality user experiences.

● Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth end-to-end functionality.

● Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

● Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following frontend development best practices.

● Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, or similar libraries.

● Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and mobile-friendly design standards are met.

● Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

● Contribute to CI/CD workflows, deployment activities, and frontend release processes.

● Stay current with frontend development trends, UI frameworks, and modern engineering practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 4–8 years of experience in frontend or UI development.

● Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

● Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and frontend architecture.

● Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.

● Experience integrating REST APIs and working with backend services.

● Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

● Experience with version control tools such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

● Understanding of CI/CD processes and frontend deployment workflows.

● Familiarity with component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI patterns.

● Strong knowledge of browser debugging tools and frontend performance optimization.

● Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid model.

Nice to Have Skills

● Experience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks.

● Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap, or similar styling frameworks.

● Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

● Experience with accessibility standards and WCAG compliance.

● Knowledge of frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Babel.

● Understanding of GraphQL and WebSockets.

● Experience working on enterprise or customer-facing digital products.
