Your expertise will support our continued growth and operational excellence in property management and development projects.

Job Description

• Yardi expert and Senior Accountant needed for Property Management Company in Annapolis, MD.
• Lead transition of accounting software to Yardi. Knowledge of Yardi and other accounting software structure, data and functions specific to affordable housing will be critical to success. Strong senior accounting experience will be critical to success.
• Serves on the accounting staff and supports CFO in accounting software leadership training and accounting operations.
• Provides support and training to the field members in use of leasing software.
• May be asked to supervise the work of more junior accountants.
• Position can become hybrid after period of initial work experience with Severn.

Skills/Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft suite especially strong Excel skills
• Strong accounting background, especially reconciliation and journal entry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating staff members
• Affordable Housing Programs
• At least 5 years’ experience with Yardi Software or similar RE financial system
• Training: 1 year (Preferred)

Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
