About the role

Introduction

Our client, a well-established and stable audiovisual equipment distributor based in Randburg, is looking for a reliable, detail-driven individual to join their team in a dual-function Receptionist and Junior Administration role.

This position is ideal for someone who is organised, accurate, and comfortable working in a structured environment where attention to detail and follow-through are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

Frontline Reception Duties

  • Answering and directing incoming calls professionally
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors and clients
  • Managing general front office administration and correspondence
  • Handling courier bookings and incoming/outgoing deliveries

Workshop & Repair Administration

  • Booking in repair jobs accurately and timeously
  • Capturing and updating job cards and system entries
  • Tracking repair progress and communicating updates where needed
  • Ensuring all repair documentation is correctly filed and maintained
  • Liaising with internal technical/workshop teams

General Office Support

  • Basic data capturing and filing
  • Assisting with stock or job-related admin when required
  • Supporting the team with day-to-day administrative tasks

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Well-presented, reliable, and punctual
  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Matric essential
  • Previous reception or admin experience advantageous

Package & Remuneration

Salary:

R10 000 – R15 000 gross per month (dependent on current earnings and experience).

Please note: Offers will be aligned to current remuneration.
