About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee dynamic residential and commercial projects following fire, water, mold, and storm damage. This position focuses on reconstruction management, not new construction from the ground up.
In this role, you will juggle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with property owners, insurance personnel, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to transition projects from authorization to final completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire lifecycle of multiple reconstruction projects from work authorization to final walkthrough.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely production.
- Review project scopes, estimates, and details for accuracy and profitability.
- Maintain essential project documentation, jobsite safety protocols, permits, and inspections.
- Engage in proactive communication with property owners, property managers, insurance representatives, and adjusters.
- Address scope changes and manage change orders while preserving project margins.
- Deliver project forecasting, reporting, and operational updates to branch leadership.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience that fosters repeat and referral business.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ project management experience in construction or restoration, with a preference for reconstruction experience.
- Able to manage 10 to 30 projects concurrently in a high-paced work environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with Xactimate or comparable estimating and construction software.
- Knowledgeable in building codes, permitting, inspections, and subcontractor coordination.
- Experience collaborating with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and adjusters.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
