About the Role
Lead strategic recreation facility projects within Brampton's community. As a Coordinator, ensure that all developments align with sport policies while managing projects from design to completion.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Facility Development and Capital Planning, this role requires project management expertise across multiple city-owned recreation assets. You'll coordinate the full project lifecycle while collaborating with various departments. Your responsibility extends to overseeing budget adherence, deadline management, and stakeholder engagement throughout all phases of development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project timelines and budgets for facility developments
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from design to commissioning
- Coordinate efforts among contractors and internal departments
- Prepare detailed project charters and status reports
- Track expenditures to maintain budget compliance
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in facility development project management
- Post-secondary degree in relevant fields
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and CCDC2
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Availability for evening/weekend activities
