Position Overview
The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting with a primary focus on manufacturing, production and other hourly roles. This position plays a critical role in building talent pipelines, coordinating hiring initiatives, and ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for candidates and new hires.
This role is highly visible and interacts with all levels of the organization, requiring a high degree of professionalism, strong organizational skills, timely responsiveness, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an entry-level HR professional to advance their career within a supportive and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, production, and hourly positions
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for high-volume hiring needs
- Plan, coordinate, and execute hiring events and job fairs
- Facilitate onboarding process and new hire orientation sessions
- Coordinate and process all new hire paperwork including HRIS data entry, reference checks and background screening
- Ensure a consistent, positive, and professional candidate experience
- Partner with HR and operations teams to understand workforce needs
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruiting metrics
- Represent the organization at community and workforce engagement events
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field; or currently pursuing a degree in one of these areas. We will consider candidates with relevant work history
- SHRM-CP certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year
- Experience in recruiting, preferably in manufacturing, production, or high-volume hourly worker environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Demonstrated passion for HR and helping people find meaningful employment
