Driver Recruiter

Navarro Trucking is looking for a Bilingual English/Spanish speaking recruiter who loves to travel! The Driver Recruiter is responsible for identifying, sourcing and recruiting qualified Class A company drivers. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with human resources, transportation, and safety divisions.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in person interviews
• Use and update Driver Reach to designed capabilities as needed including, but not limited to:
  • All DQ documents must be countersigned (if applicable) and placed in appropriate sections for each applicant.
  • I-9 is verified and countersigned.
  • Tax documents including Federal and local are complete.
• Initiate Pre-employment drug screen using Concentra prior to their first day of work.
• Hand out pre-approved Onboarding sheet to all candidates.
• Transition from Online training to working with our yard trainer.
• Check in with each candidate at the end of each day.
• Provide weekly report on all candidates both in the yard and on the road.
• Report to Executive Director, of drivers to be added to insurance via email with the following:
  • Initial names and information by the 10th of every month.
    • Validation of 2 years driving experience (Insurance req.)
• Open Enrollment (work with Executive Director)
• Distribute Navarro Handbook and all associated memos
  • All memos and handbooks should be signed.
• Monthly verification check of Navarro driver pool via the state DMV credentialing system.
• Work with Executive Director to share responsibilities while not in office.
• Conduct presentations at various driving schools
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

• $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
