Role Overview
The Recruiter plays a key role in supporting PeopleShares Princeton office by sourcing talent, coordinating the hiring process, and ensuring strong candidate and client experiences.
This role involves high‑volume recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and managing associate performance while maintaining accurate records and effective communication with hiring managers.
You’ll help connect job seekers to meaningful work while supporting the success of clients across multiple industries.
Compensation
Compensation for this role ranges from $50,000 $55,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit candidates across administrative, clerical, light industrial, and professional roles using job boards, talent calls, resume searches, and social media.
- Conduct interviews, prepare candidates for placements, and facilitate orientations while ensuring a positive and efficient candidate experience.
- Complete all pre‑employment requirements including applications, background checks, drug screens, I‑9 and W‑4 verification, and employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate candidate and assignment data in the ATS/CRM, including payroll records, job details, pay rates, time entry credentials, and onboarding status.
- Manage associates throughout their assignments by providing coaching, addressing performance issues, handling staffing emergencies, and supporting terminations when needed.
- Communicate daily with client managers regarding job openings, candidate updates, order changes, and service needs; skill‑market top candidates to local employers.
- Post and manage job advertisements across LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, and other platforms while ensuring alignment with PeopleShare branding.
- Conduct client site tours to understand job requirements, work environments, and skill needs to improve match quality and fill rates.
Qualifications
- Prior recruiting experience preferred; experience in sales or service roles (2+ years) strongly beneficial.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment with performance goals or KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and experience with CRM or ATS systems preferred.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
