We are currently seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to join a leading mining operation in Western Canada. This is a contract opportunity through December 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on large-scale industrial hiring initiatives.

This role is ideal for an experienced full-cycle recruiter who is comfortable partnering directly with hiring managers, participating in interviews, and recruiting across a range of technical disciplines including engineering, geology, and other industrial roles.

You’ll play a key role in attracting top talent, supporting national hiring programs, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Participate in and promote a strong commitment to health and safety programs and policies
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through to offer and onboarding
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, including active participation in interviews and hiring decisions
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Hiring Managers and Human Resources
  • Maintain and utilize applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
  • Support a nationwide campus recruitment program across post-secondary institutions
  • Assist with sourcing strategies including digital campaigns, social media, job boards, and industry events
  • Coordinate and participate in career fairs and recruitment initiatives
  • Travel regularly, including extended travel as required
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable Canadian laws and regulations

What You Bring

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, ideally within mining, industrial, or technical environments
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and partnering directly with hiring managers
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles such as engineering, geology, or other industrial disciplines
  • Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent)
