Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Draft and post engaging job ads across caregiver and CNA job boards
- Screen resumes, conduct phone prescreens, and schedule interviews
- Assist with background checks, reference verifications, and credential tracking
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
Community Outreach
- Build relationships with CNA/nursing schools, workforce programs, and community organizations
- Represent the agency at job fairs, graduations, and community events
- Source diverse and bilingual caregiver talent through targeted outreach
Onboarding Support
- Assist with caregiver orientation sessions, introducing new hires to compliance, safety, and company culture
- Help maintain audit-ready digital and paper personnel files
Metrics & Reporting
- Track hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and retention benchmarks
- Share recruiting insights with leadership to improve hiring strategies
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of recruiting experience (healthcare or home care preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with candidates via phone, email, and in person
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet weekly hiring goals
- Willingness to attend and represent the agency at community events and job fairs
- Tech-savvy; familiarity with job boards, social media recruiting, and Microsoft Office (ATS experience is a plus)
- Ability to attend occasional in-person meetings or events in the Gaithersburg, MD area
