Position Summary

The Contract Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting across corporate, operational, and claims administration functions within a third-party administrator environment. This role partners closely with business leaders to support hiring corporate teams and provides flexible recruiting support for claims administration roles based on volume, client demand, or business growth. The ideal candidate understands the TPA business model, claims operations, and regulated environments, and can quickly adapt recruiting strategies to meet changing client and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate roles including People Operations (POPs), Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations.
  • Support recruitment for claims administration roles as needed, such as Claims Adjusters, Claims Examiners, Claims Specialists, Supervisors, and Managers across multiple lines of business (e.g., workers’ compensation, general liability).
  • Conduct intake meetings to understand client requirements, service-level expectations, licensing needs, and staffing timelines.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, interview plans, and hiring priorities aligned to client contracts and operational goals.

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry job boards, referrals, ATS databases, and professional networks.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of experienced professionals.
  • Develop scalable sourcing strategies to support high-volume hiring, client implementations, or sudden increases in demand.

Candidate Experience & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Screen candidates for qualifications, relevant experience, and role-specific competencies.
  • Coordinate and guide candidates and hiring managers through interviews and selection decisions.
  • Deliver a positive, efficient candidate experience aligned with client-driven urgency and service expectations.
  • Function as a consultative partner by advising leaders on labor market conditions, availability of claims talent, and hiring best practices within the TPA space.

Compliance, Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with EEO, applicable state regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes to support scalability, speed, and quality of hire.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience within a TPA, claims administration, insurance services, healthcare administration, or regulated operations environment is a plus.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple business functions and job levels.
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Experience supporting high-volume, client-driven, or fast-paced hiring.

Salary Range

$40.00 - $70.00 per hour

The salary range listed is an estimate. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skill set, and work location.
