About the role
Position Summary:
The Recruiter plays a key role in executing hiring strategies for requisitions assigned including operations, production, warehouse, and driver positions. Supporting the Senior Recruiters, this role manages requisitions, sources frontline candidates, coordinates hiring events, and ensures DOT-compliant processes for driver recruitment. The Recruiter also provides hiring metrics, time-to-fill reporting, and ATS management to support operational staffing needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-pressure environment, manages multiple job requisitions at once, and is focused on moving candidates from applicant to onboarding swiftly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full cycle recruiting for high-volume roles including production workers, warehouse associates, pick/pack staff, and driver positions (CDL and non-CDL).
- Conduct sourcing through job boards, local community outreach, referrals, hiring events, and social platforms.
- Screen and qualify candidates, including preliminary DOT-related prequalification checks (e.g., MVR flags, required credentials).
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to process, move, and track candidates, ensuring 100% data integrity and compliance.
- Partner with operations and the Senior Recruiters to understand staffing targets and scheduling needs.
- Assist in organizing and executing hiring events, open houses, community job fairs, and on-site recruiting days.
- Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers, managing heavy email/phone interactions.
- Post, update, and manage job ads across various job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Prepare time-to-fill and hiring funnel metrics weekly for leadership review.
- Track drop-off and show-up rates for frontline and driver candidates and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety requirements, and company hiring standards.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or transportation.
- Experience recruiting drivers and familiarity with DOT hiring considerations preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities and comfort with fast-changing hiring demands.
- Proficiency with ATS tools and high-volume sourcing platforms.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer-service orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with cross-functional collaboration.
