Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiter / HR Assistant to join our human resources team at a busy multi-specialty medical practice in Central Jersey.
This a full-time, 40 hours per week position Monday-Friday, and is on-site. This is not a remote position. The primary location is Robbinsville, NJ but may require travel to other locations as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations, with a passion for connecting talented individuals with the right opportunities. This role involves managing end-to-end recruitment processes, supporting HR initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strategic sourcing abilities, and proficiency with various HRIS and ATS platforms to streamline hiring and employee management.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple departments, including technical recruiting, executive recruiting, campus recruitment, and internal staffing initiatives.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
- Conduct virtual and in-person interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, cultural fit, and potential contributions to the organization.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies through social media management, cold calling, research, and relationship management to attract top talent.
- Conduct employee orientation programs, and onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
- Support employee relations activities by assisting with performance evaluations, employee engagement initiatives, and succession planning efforts.
- Stay informed about employment & labor law regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices and documentation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted lead generation strategies for talent acquisition.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with expertise in HR sourcing methods
- Proficiency with ATS platforms
- Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure legal compliance in all hiring activities.
- Experience in technical recruiting for roles requiring specialized skill sets; familiarity with sales roles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging candidates effectively and maintaining positive relationships throughout the recruitment process.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using tools such as Salesforce or ADP for payroll and employee data management.
- Background in training & development programs to support ongoing employee growth and career progression initiatives.
Pay
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
