About the role
Position Objective
As a Recruiter II, you will play a crucial role in attracting, screening, and selecting candidates for various Federal clients supported by GAP Solutions, Inc.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and staffing for both headquarters and government clients.
- Source and identify qualified candidates; conduct initial screening processes to identify applicants who meet job requirements.
- Utilize modern interview and recruitment methodologies to prequalify candidates.
- Guide candidates through the interview process and contract management, including applications, references, background checks, interview schedules, offers, onboarding, and security processing as needed.
- Support the business development team in pursuing new recruitment opportunities.
- Create and maintain a pipeline of candidates to fulfill current and future recruitment needs.
- Keep detailed records of candidate tracking and documentation requirements.
- Consult with Program Managers to pinpoint clients' skill needs and implement effective sourcing strategies for successful placements.
- Develop and maintain beneficial networks and relationships that aid recruitment goals.
- Track recruiting activity and metrics to ensure compliance with OFCCP and meet Affirmative Action Plan goals.
- Maintain applicant and candidate records in the ATS and process all onboarding paperwork accurately.
- Provide clear and professional communication to candidates and program managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Contribute to process improvements and recruitment goals.
- Participate in job fairs and trade shows as required.
- Undertake other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a recruiting capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred.
- Experience with various ATS and job boards.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of resource requests and adapt searches as needed.
- Strong independent judgment to prioritize tasks and decide on procedures.
- Excellent service delivery skills and capability to work independently.
- Proficient in building relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Excellent analytical skills to address sensitive issues.
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
- Must pass a company background check.
