Position Overview
The Recruiter is responsible for executing full-cycle recruiting activities for technical and salary-based roles, with success measured by progressive achievement of defined onboarding and performance milestones within the first 30, 60, and 90 days. Responsibilities include job postings, candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing, coordination of background and drug screenings, offer support, onboarding documentation, and ongoing engagement to ensure new hires successfully complete their 90-day introductory employment period.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform all responsibilities of Recruiter I.
- Partner with hiring managers and Human Resources staff throughout the recruitment and offer process, including compensation discussions, incentives, start dates, and related details.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to support continuous improvement initiatives, recruiting processes, and best practices.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews; support the preparation of interview questions, evaluation tools, and selection materials.
Other Human Resources Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate recruiting trackers and dashboards; provide regular reporting as required.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
- Complete all required company training in a timely manner.
- Comply with all company safety policies, human resources policies, practices, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
Related Experience
- 2-3+ years of experience in technical recruiting in the food manufacturing industry preferred.
Knowledge/Skills Experience
- Working knowledge of human resources best practices and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with candidates and internal and external partners.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Less than 5% travel required, including job fairs and company engagement events at various company locations.
