About the role
Job Overview
The non-profit organization is seeking a dedicated Temporary Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt roles across multiple programs. This includes sourcing, screening, candidate pipeline development, onboarding, and supporting the intern program. The recruiter will also oversee applicant tracking and recruitment data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment strategies for a variety of roles, adjusting approaches based on department needs and culture.
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles and streamline the hiring process.
- Source candidates through job boards, community organizations, colleges, and digital platforms.
- Manage interviews, offers, onboarding, and orientation for new hires and interns.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws; recommend process improvements.
- Maintain and analyze data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Represent the non-profit organization at community and recruitment events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of recruiting experience in a non-profit setting; strong ATS knowledge.
- Experience recruiting Direct Support roles preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and social media recruiting tools.
- HR Certification a plus.
- DSP(Direct Support Professional)/ Nursing hiring experience
- CILA home knowledge
Work Environment
- Almost fully remote outside of commuting to job fares or hiring initiative meetings.
