About the role
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and data-driven Recruiter & People Operations Specialist to join our corporate support team. This role is a hybrid of strategic talent acquisition, complex payroll administration, and organizational compliance. The ideal candidate will act as a critical bridge between our operational goals and our management systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Talent Strategy & Forecasting: Develop and execute an annual talent acquisition roadmap aligned with organizational growth projections and seasonal scaling needs.
- Systems Integration: Serve as the functional lead for onboarding and recruitment modules; responsible for creating comprehensive workflow documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Brand Advocacy: Represent the organization at professional networking events and regional recruitment forums to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
- Financial & Payroll Administration: Act as the primary technical backup for multi-entity payroll processing. This includes the administration of complex variable compensation structures, milestone-based bonuses, and performance-based incentive programs.
- Communication Design: Draft and distribute internal communications regarding incentive totals and compensation adjustments to team members.
- Compliance & Audit Management: Conduct rigorous audits of digital and physical personnel records to ensure 100% compliance with internal standards and state/federal regulations.
- Process Engineering: Continuously update organizational manuals and internal documentation to reflect shifts in administrative procedures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with external service providers and executive leadership to deliver high-level support and service to the broader workforce.
- Engagement & Culture: Initiate and monitor programs designed to elevate organizational health and increase overall team member satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Communication Excellence: Sophisticated verbal, written, and presentation skills with a focus on professional diplomacy.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate-level capabilities in Excel.
- Systems Agility: Ability to rapidly master and optimize Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Detail Orientation: A meticulous approach to data entry and record-keeping where accuracy is paramount.
- Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive financial and personal data with absolute discretion.
- Professional Integrity: A proactive problem-solver who can work independently while maintaining a strong team-player ethos.
Education & Experience
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field of study.
- Professional Tenure: 2+ years of experience in recruitment.
- Multi-State Expertise: Previous experience managing payroll or compliance across multiple state jurisdictions.
- Recruitment Track Record: Demonstrated success in sourcing a high volume of diverse talent profiles.
- Technical Plus: Prior experience with Tier-1 payroll/HRIS platforms is highly desirable.
Physical & Work Environment
- Standard office environment requiring extended periods of stationary work and repetitive data entry.
- Requires the ability to interpret complex speech and communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility: This role requires exceptional time management skills and the ability to adapt to varying workloads during peak organizational cycles.
