About the role
Position Overview
Flagship Real Estate, affiliated with Forbes Global Properties, is seeking a highly motivated Commission-Based Agent Recruiter to help identify, attract, and onboard experienced real estate professionals who align with our brand, culture, and growth goals.
This role is ideal for someone with strong relationship-building skills, knowledge of the real estate industry, and the ability to communicate the value of joining a premium real estate brokerage backed by an internationally recognized luxury brand.
The Agent Recruiter will be responsible for building a consistent pipeline of qualified real estate agents, conducting outreach, coordinating recruiting meetings, and helping convert prospects into active Flagship agents.
Key Responsibilities
Agent Prospecting and Outreach
- Identify and contact licensed real estate agents who may be a strong fit for Flagship Real Estate and Forbes Global Properties.
- Build a pipeline of producing agents, emerging agents, team leaders, and high-potential recruits.
Recruiting Conversations
- Communicate Flagship’s value proposition, including brand positioning, marketing support, luxury network access, leadership, technology, culture, training, and business-growth opportunities.
Relationship Development
- Develop long-term relationships with prospective agents through phone calls, emails, texts, social media, networking events, real estate functions, and one-on-one meetings.
Candidate Qualification
- Evaluate potential recruits based on production history, professionalism, market presence, client service standards, reputation, cultural fit, and growth potential.
Meeting Coordination
- Schedule introductory meetings between prospective agents and Flagship leadership.
- Prepare background notes and recruiting summaries before each meeting.
Follow-Up and Conversion
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the recruiting process.
- Help move qualified candidates from initial conversation to signed affiliation.
Market Intelligence
- Track competing brokerages, agent movement, local market trends, and recruiting opportunities within Rhode Island and surrounding markets.
Onboarding Support
- Assist with handoff once an agent commits, including coordinating paperwork, licensing transfer steps, marketing introduction, and internal onboarding.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a persuasive, polished, and self-driven professional who understands how to build trust with real estate agents. This person should be comfortable initiating conversations, following up consistently, and representing a high-end real estate brand.
Strong candidates may include former real estate agents, sales professionals, recruiters, business development representatives, mortgage/title professionals, or individuals with deep local real estate relationships.
Qualifications
- Real estate industry experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and follow-up.
- Ability to present a premium brand in a professional and compelling way.
- Highly organized and able to manage a recruiting pipeline.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a commission-based role.
- Knowledge of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or New England real estate markets preferred.
Compensation Structure
This is a commission-based position tied directly to successful agent recruitment.
