We are seeking to add a Recruiter to our team to drive our recruitment and onboarding processes. The suitable candidate for this role must also be incredibly upbeat and personable as part of the role is highlighting our company culture and welcoming new employees into our dealer group. Our business is fast paced, ever growing and changing and therefore, we need someone who can jump right in and never miss a beat.

Hours

On-site Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Responsibilities

  • Complete preliminary phone screenings based on position or schedule interviews
  • Create engaging job postings and source candidates
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the candidate pipeline
  • Complete reference checks and other preliminary checks prior to extending an offer
  • Create orientation folders and ensure new employees are set up for success on their first day
  • Support onboarding tasks through credential creation
  • Review completed orientation documents and follow up with new employees as required
  • Filing and other recruitment/onboarding tasks as required
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Completion of a Human Resource Management diploma or certificate program is considered an asset
  • Previous HR experience is considered an asset
  • Excellent judgement, professionalism, maturity and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Natural ability to build long lasting relationships with candidates and employees
  • Multitasking, time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Above average computer skills
  • HRIS experience is considered an asset
  • Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record
