The Role

As a Recruiter, you will assist Hiring Managers in filling open positions by offering expert guidance and ensuring quality throughout the recruitment process.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering excellent recruitment services and following the established service agreements.

You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process working in conjunction with colleagues in teams such as Sourcing and Administration, utilizing relevant recruitment technology applications.

You’ll engage directly with the client where you will give expert advice and manage their expectations at every stage of the hiring process.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and advise on hiring strategy
  • Lead sourcing and attraction plans aligned to market needs
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, ensuring high‑quality shortlist delivery
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience from interview to offer
  • Handle complex offer negotiations and support hiring decisions
  • Anticipate and resolve stakeholder issues proactively
  • Support workforce planning and build strategic talent pipelines
  • Keep systems updated in real time and ensure full compliance

Skills & Requirements

  • Must be fluently bilingual in French and English.
  • Proven experience recruiting for highly technical roles within Financial Services, including AI (Generative AI and Agentic AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science Analytics-heavy roles, blockchain/crypto hiring or quantitative research
  • Experience of developing and delivering end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies to meet client requirements
  • Worked with, and presented to and solved issues for clients and candidates, including Hiring Managers
  • Expert in behavioral / competency-based interviewing
  • Experience of working to and achieving demanding targets, ratios and SLAs
  • Able to demonstrate a broader understanding of the clients business and strategies and how they influence AMS Service Delivery
  • Able to act autonomously, potentially responsible for own business areas on a standalone basis
  • Understanding of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors)
  • Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising and database searching)

  • We are committed to pay transparency and fairness. For this role, the initial expected remuneration is CAD 61,180 - 80,500, plus applicable benefits (Supplemental Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, Disability, RRSP/DPSP, Paid Holidays/Vacation/Sick Time, Paid Parental Leave, Performance Bonus)
