About

The Personnel Department of the Tax Administration, with its friendly and competent team, supports around 3,800 colleagues in all matters concerning their employment.

Are you solution-oriented, meticulous, and loyal? Do you have empathy and enjoy working with people? Are you reliable and do you have a preference for both changing and recurring tasks? As a strong member of the collective bargaining unit in the Personnel Department, you will be responsible for the holistic personnel support of the collective bargaining employees of the Tax Administration, together with 4 colleagues. You will be involved in a diverse range of tasks from recruiting to contract design.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, revising, and coordinating job advertisement texts
  • Legally reviewing incoming applications, coordinating the pre-selection with the departments, and subsequently conducting personnel selection interviews
  • Managing the entire onboarding process for new employees, from committee participation to the payment of the first salary, via KoPers
  • Providing application support for the applicant management software (BMS)
  • Calculating personnel cost reimbursements and overpayments and monitoring their recovery

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Public Administration or a legal or economic field of study
  • Alternatively: Apprenticeship in an administrative or office-related commercial profession or equivalent professional knowledge and, in addition, professional experience in administrative or office-related commercial activities at Bachelor's level (e.g., in the public sector from EG 9b) or with 4 years of professional experience in specialist areas of the advertised position
  • Proficiency in German, both written and spoken (Level C1 of the CEFR)

Desired Skills

  • Practical, comprehensive knowledge of personnel administration (especially in collective bargaining and social security law)
  • Knowledge of KoPers and BMS software solutions
  • Sensitivity in handling personal data and information
  • Good comprehension skills, independent and structured way of working, as well as a high level of commitment and flexibility

Requirements

  • Hochschulabschluss (Bachelor oder gleichwertig) in Verwaltungswissenschaft oder in einer rechtlich bzw. wirtschaftlich geprägten Studienfachrichtung

  • eingehende Bewerbungen rechtssicher prüfen, die Vorauswahl mit den Fachbereichen absprechen und im Anschluss die Personalauswahlgespräche leiten
  • den gesamten Onboardingprozess neuer Mitarbeitender von der Gremienbeteiligung bis zur Zahlung des ersten Gehalts über KoPers betreuen
  • Anwendungsbetreuung für die Bewerber-Management-Software (BMS) übernehmen
  • Personalkostenerstattungen und Überzahlungen berechnen und deren Rückforderung überwachen
