The Opportunity
We are seeking a Recruiting Associate with a strong interest in sourcing and hiring skilled tradespeople, particularly within the electrical field. The Recruiting Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining a reliable pipeline of qualified electricians, apprentices, and related trade professionals to meet the growing needs of our projects nationwide. This individual will report directly to the Human Resources Manager while working closely with project managers, operations, and leadership to understand manpower requirements, reduce time-to-hire, onboard, and ensure we attract top talent who align with our company culture and performance standards. The Recruiting Associate will have opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute recruiting strategies to source electricians, apprentices, and other trade professionals for commercial lighting retrofit projects.
- Manage the initial recruiting process, including market analysis, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and initial interviewing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade schools, licensing boards, and industry networks to establish reliable recruiting channels.
- Research and ensure compliance with state-specific licensing and ratio requirements when hiring apprentices and journeymen.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline status, and retention of hires.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Support employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the electrical trades.

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to represent the company culture to candidates.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience recruiting within the electrical trades.
- Familiarity with commercial lighting retrofit projects, healthcare facilities, or large-scale electrical installations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Performance Metrics
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Time-to-hire for open positions.
- Quality of hires (retention, performance feedback).
- Candidate pipeline development and sustainability.
- Compliance with licensing and manpower ratio requirements
