We are a boutique recruitment agency based in Surrey, known for our personalised approach and strong client relationships. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to support our small, dynamic team.
The Role
As a Recruitment Assistant, you will support the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring smooth candidate sourcing, CRM management, compliance, and administrative coordination. Working closely with a team of recruiters and the company Director, your role will be key in enabling the team to maximise their billing time by keeping all processes efficient, accurate, and up to date.
This is a fully remote, full-time position supporting a busy team. You will need to be proactive, highly organised, and confident managing multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing
- Source candidates via internal database and external tools such as SourceBreaker, CV Library, REED, and Indeed
- Review applications, identify suitable candidates, and send screening questions where required
- Assist consultants in building high-quality shortlists
CV & Candidate Management
- Format and tailor CVs to meet client requirements to a high standard
- Upload, code, and manage candidate records accurately within the CRM (Influence)
- Send speculative CVs to potential employers and support candidate marketing
CRM & Data Management
- Create and manage job listings on the CRM and external job boards
- Ensure all candidates, clients, and jobs are correctly coded and consistently updated
- Add new candidates, businesses, and leads to the CRM system
- Conduct regular data cleansing, removing duplicates and updating outdated records
Administrative Support
- Arrange interviews between candidates and clients, sending confirmations and relevant details
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records
- Provide general administrative support to the Director and recruitment team
Compliance (Key Focus)
- Ensure all pre-employment and ongoing compliance requirements are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate documentation
- Update Regulation 18 following job creation
- Ensure all records meet internal and external compliance standards
- Proactively monitor compliance status of active candidates
Website & Job Management
- Upload and update job vacancies on the company website
- Monitor job adverts, ensuring roles are kept live, relevant, and up to date
- Conduct regular advertising audits, removing or updating expired roles
Business Development Support
- Identify and obtain leads through candidate interactions
- Research businesses and add potential clients to the CRM
- Support outreach activity and share relevant updates via email
Team Support
- Assist consultants with daily recruitment administration tasks
- Provide efficient and proactive support to streamline recruitment processes
About You
- Previous experience within a recruitment agency is highly desirable
- Confident speaking with candidates and clients over the phone
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with data and compliance processes
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience formatting documents using Adobe
- Comfortable using databases, CRM systems, and various AI tools

Pay: R21 000,00 - R24 000,00 per month
