What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day)
- Winning new business and building your own client portfolio
- Managing client relationships and understanding hiring needs
- Sourcing and placing candidates into high-impact roles
- Driving revenue through placements and repeat business
This is a sales-driven role where your success is directly tied to your effort, consistency, and ability to build relationships.
Business Development (Client Side):
- Proactively identify and win new clients through cold calling, networking, and market mapping
- Build long-term partnerships with hiring managers and decision-makers
- Understand client hiring needs and position Roc Search as a trusted partner
Candidate Management (Candidate Side):
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and outbound outreach
- Conduct in-depth interviews and manage candidate expectations
- Match top talent with the right opportunities
Full Desk Ownership:
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from initial outreach to offer negotiation and placement
- Own your niche market and develop deep industry expertise
- Track performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue generation
Backgrounds that translate well:
- Sales (inside sales, retail, B2B, solar, etc.)
- Customer-facing roles
- Sports or competitive environments
- Leadership or entrepreneurial experience
What Success Looks Like
- Building your own book of business
- Generating consistent placements and revenue
- Becoming a market specialist in your niche
- Progressing into senior or leadership roles based on performance
Compensation
Annual Base Salary: $50,000
Average Total Median Compensation (including base): $75,000 - $80,000 year 1, earnings are uncapped and based on individual performance
