Description
The Onboarding and Recruitment Specialist will play a critical role in day-to-day flow of recruitment activities. This role will post all position on our web, handle specialty advertising and our onboarding process. This position is responsible to deliver a superior new-hire experience by providing high level of customer service and maintaining quality throughout the pre-employment and on-boarding process. This positions supports the Mission of Frederick Health and complies with the Standards of Behavior.
Responsibilities
- Posting all Frederick Health positions on the web weekly to ensure consistent format of our postings.
- Will create, coordinate and generate all specialty advertising for open position.
- Will create and review the weekly Vacancy Recruitment report.
- Work directly with candidates to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
- Will handle onboarding coordination of medical clearances, background checks and other required clearances.
- Work directly with candidate to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
- Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
- Ensures compliance with standard onboarding practices and procedures.
- Partners with recruiters to send, receive, and track required pre-employment documentation for new hires, communicates with hiring managers, recruiters, Occupational Health and new hires on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in various HR/Recruiting project initiatives.
- Helps with HR electronic file and records, assists with human resources support activities.
- Strong organizational, time management and process management skills necessary to maintain high-volume workload.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to effectively work with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates.
Minimum Education, Training, And Experience Required
- Bachelor degree in HR, psychology, education, business, and/or related business experience preferred; 2+ years of experience supporting recruitment function.
- Demonstrate affinity with candidate sourcing and recruitment techniques
- Familiarity with sourcing tools, HR systems (including an ATS) and candidate management systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.
Pay range: $46,297 - $65,062
