ISTA Personnel Solutions is a dynamic and fast-growing BPO company. We are not a recruitment agency – we operate as a dedicated extension of our clients' teams, delivering high-quality service with precision, efficiency, and a personal touch.
We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to support ABA Therapy services, initially focusing on Massachusetts. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including reviewing resumes via Apploi, screening candidates, conducting interviews, collecting documentation, and onboarding new hires. This is a hands‑on recruitment role requiring excellent organization, strong communication skills, and a warm, professional presence. You will be a key point of contact for candidates throughout their hiring journey.
Please Note
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM South African time – subject to change in accordance with daylight savings in the United States as well as the operational requirements of the Company)
- You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA)
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered
- Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered
- Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role
Job Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Review and screen resumes received through Apploi for ABA Therapy positions.
- Assess candidate qualifications against role requirements and compliance standards.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone/video interviews.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Collect required employment documentation and ensure onboarding compliance.
- Manage candidate records accurately within Apploi and Passage Health systems.
- Track recruitment metrics such as application volumes, interview ratios, and hires.
- Collaborate with the client and internal stakeholders to align on hiring needs and priorities.
- Serve as a warm, professional, and positive representative of the company
Requirements
Industry Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is required.
- Experience within the healthcare sector is advantageous.
- Experience recruiting for ABA Therapy roles is a plus
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Upbeat, positive, and friendly personality with a professional phone presence.
- Outgoing, warm, and patient approach when engaging with candidates.
- Strong multitasking abilities and ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Technical Skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and Outlook.
- Comfortable navigating recruitment platforms and systems.
- Experience using Apploi and/or Passage Health is advantageous.
- No advanced Excel skills required
