About the role
We’re seeking a driven, hands-on Recruiter to join our Human Resources team and lead full-cycle recruiting primarily for hourly store-level positions across our Florida region, with occasional support for salaried roles as needed.
This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in high-volume environments, enjoys building strong community talent pipelines, and is energized by being out in the field once per week. You’ll use creative sourcing strategies, relationship-building, and in-person recruiting events to consistently attract and hire top hourly talent for our stores.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts primarily for hourly store staff, including cashiers, retail associates, and other front-line roles
- Support occasional salaried hiring based on business needs
- Prepare job postings and screen applications for hourly and salaried positions
- Manage high-volume requisitions and fill current and anticipated openings
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to build proactive pipelines for hourly talent
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and passive outreach
- Plan, schedule, and attend in-person pop-up recruiting events, job fairs, expos, and community events
- Promote our stores, culture, and career opportunities to candidates and external partners
- Coordinate interviews, background checks, reference checks, and employment processing
- Communicate regularly with candidates regarding application status and next steps
- Ensure compliance with EEO guidelines and employment laws throughout the recruiting process
Requirements
Preferred Experience
- Proven success hiring hourly, front-line roles in retail, cashiering, convenience store, grocery, or fast-food environments
- Strong background in high-volume hourly recruiting
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on hourly hiring
- 1–3 years of agency recruiting experience is a plus
- Experience managing 30+ open requisitions simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and ATS platforms
- Ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and community organizations
- Experience onboarding candidates and managing pre-employment verifications
- Working knowledge of EEO requirements and employment law
- Enjoys sourcing, outreach, and engaging candidates in fast-paced environments
- Experience using social media as a recruiting tool
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Willingness to work flexible or extended hours and travel as needed for recruiting events

Compensation for this role is from $70,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
