About the role
Zadient Technologies is a French company developing an innovative process for producing silicon carbide with exceptionally low production costs and an unprecedented level of purity. The company operates upstream in the SiC semiconductor value chain, manufacturing the raw material from which SiC wafers and chips are produced.
Since its funding round in November 2025, Zadient has been accelerating its R&D efforts as well as its pilot activities in crystal growth and production technologies.
We are seeking a seasoned recruiter, with experience in technical or industrial environments, eager to play a key role in attracting talent and shaping our teams as we expand. The role can be extended to team development – specifically managerial competencies in the short-term – depending on recruitment workload and profile.
1. Key Responsibilities and Activities
Recruitment – Scientific & Industrial Engineers, Experts, and Managers • Lead and operate targeted recruitment for engineering, scientific, and managerial roles (R&D, engineering, industrialization, quality, equipment, semiconductor specialists). • Conduct proactive sourcing and headhunting for niche profiles in competitive markets. • Support hiring managers in defining role requirements, competency expectations, and structured interview processes. • Ensure a high‑quality candidate experience that reflects the company’s technological ambition and culture.
Possible evolution: Build long‑term relationships with engineering schools, research labs, and industry associations.
Recruitment – Operators & Technicians • Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for technicians, and production operators. • Build and maintain strong sourcing channels adapted to industrial profiles (vocational schools, local employment partners, job fairs). • Implement efficient and scalable screening processes to ensure technical aptitude, alignment with R&D and industrial constraints, and cultural fit. • Track recruitment KPIs (time‑to‑fill, quality of hire, retention) and adjust strategies to meet operational needs.
People development (managerial competencies and other) • Contribute to design and maintain a managerial competency framework aligned with the company’s culture and growth stage. • Create and deliver (possibly via 3rd parties) management training programs; it could touch leadership fundamentals, communication, feedback, conflict management, or team performance. • Introduce tools and rituals that reinforce managerial excellence (1:1s, performance reviews, team routines) • Support managers in identifying development needs in their teams; advise and organize development actions when relevant (training, coaching, on-the-job development) • Leverage IA to reinforce individual and team performance (MS365 and copilot, IA assistant when relevant, etc..)
2. Nature and Scope of Responsibilities • Execute day-to-day recruitment activities with strong responsiveness and quality • Manage HR tools related to recruitment, onboarding and learning • Produce dashboards and reports to support decision making • Deliver training, workshop and support to managers • Individual role, no direct team management.
3. Working Relationships • Internal: HR VP, employees and managers • External: recruitment agencies, training agencies
4. Required Qualifications and Experience • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related field • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a recruitment agency or headhunting firm, with proven success in sourcing and assessing diverse profiles for industrial, engineering or scientific roles • Appetite for attracting industrial profiles (operators, technicians) and highly specialized engineering or scientific roles (3+ years) • Mastery of sourcing techniques, including proactive outreach and headhunting • Proficiency with digital tools (LinkedIn, Applicant Tracking System, etc..) • Strong understanding of competency‑based recruitment and assessment methods • Ability to manage multiple researches and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to design and facilitate training sessions and workshops • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and coach managers • Analytical mindset with ability to track KPIs and propose improvements • High autonomy, adaptability, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, scaling environment • Fluent in English and French • Ability and appetite to navigate in an intercultural environment
Specific conditions / What we offer
Location: position based in Savoie, France (Sainte-Hélène-du-Lac, near Chambéry).
Employment type: full-time contract

SiC is a critical material for energy transition, enabling technologies such as electric vehicles, electric rail systems, wind turbines, solar panels, batteries, and aerospace applications. SiC chips are used in equipment such as inverters and chargers in electric vehicles, significantly improving driving range as well as charging speed and efficiency compared with silicon-based chips—resulting in substantial CO₂ reductions.
In April 2025, Zadient Technologies was selected to join the inaugural STEP Scale‑Up funding program of the European Innovation Council.
